About DJ Reup Tha Boss

Karetes Gibson professionally known as “DJ Reup Tha Boss” was born in Macon, Ga on July 2nd, 1986. He started doing music about the age of 15 being inspired by up and coming labels like Cash Money, Rockafella, and No Limit. As he got older the passion grew so much he started his own indie label entitled Dark House 415 Ent. back in 2004 taking on the title of (expired link) but that’s not all that he was able to accomplish. He soon became the in-house producer, artist and the DJ which made him sort of a “Jack Of All Trades.” He has also had the chance to work with many major producers,DJs and artist like Drumma Boy, Zay-Toven, DJ Toomp, KE On da track, The Rock Mob, A1 The Super Group, Henny Whyte, Jelly Roll, DJ Burn One,DJ Smallz,ET of Dirty Boyz,Slice 9,Tracy T,Rich Kidz,Shawn Jay of Field Mob,Young Dolph Hardhead Jacob, and Shagg Colie and many more. Back in 2007 Reup and his label released a mixtape with DJ Smallz “Mr. Southern Smoke” that pulled the whole city being the movement and gave them the momentum to take it all the way but that wasn’t enough for him coming frm Macon,Ga. He decided that it was time to move to Atlanta,Ga which is currently the music Mecca to showcase his talent in a bigger city. DJ Reup landed a road DJ Deal with SlaughterHouse Record’s group The Rock Mob which gave him the exposure he needed in Atlanta,Ga. With the ability to produce, engineer, DJ, film and edit videos, song write, and run the whole company he then started a new company to consolidate all his attributes into one. He then began starting to brand his new company Time 2 Reup Ent. DJ Reup is definitely what you would call a force to be reckoning with and he’s definitely something that the music industry has not seen in a very long time.
