Business owner and musician, David Wells, known in the music circles as dkWells, has released his second album titled, Thank God for Thomas Edison, on his own record label, Stormcrow Records.

Recorded at his studio, The Studio @ Baker Street in downtown Evansville, which also houses offices for dkWells Productions and Wellness Communications, the album incorporates fourteen original songs and one cover.

Wells shares, “A lot of my inspiration for the songs came from my experience attending the Bonnaroo Music Festival. In fact the title of the album, and the title track song was inspired by electricity at the event. The lack of it in my camping area, and the power of it on stage.”

Thank God for Thomas Edison has received rave reviews from Soundsource, an independent reviewing company associated with ReverbNation. One review states, “Thank God for Thomas Edison contains songs with expert orchestration, an ensemble performance, that is very tuneful and melodic. Lyrically, the material is creative and eclectic!
