(expired link) D’lemma is a progressive rock/metalband from The Netherlands and exists for several years out of, Lex de Haas (Guitars/backing vocals), Iskander Dekker (Bass) and Dimitri Kramer (Drums).
D’lemma is inspired by bands like Dream Theater, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Van Halen, Symphony X, Pagan’s Mind, Opeth and many others.
In our music we are searching for a balance to combine catchy melodic lines and complex instrumental parts. With as result, progressive rock and metal wich is fascinating, moving and surprising at the same time.
In the early years of D’lemma we were experimenting with several female vocalists, leaving out the sound D’lemma was searching for. In 2007 the band got in touch with Fred Slegt as a vocalist. With his technique of high pitches and warm melodic vocal parts, it was just the sound what we were looking for. D’lemma is now best compared to Dream Theater but with their own unique sound.
