DMAC442 making the "Farmer's Daughter" dance!
The melody has flavors from the 60's. I thoroughly enjoyed how DMAC442 added a melodic string melody into their cording. This tune is both catchy and danceable. The vocals here remind me of the early years of bands coming to the US during the British Invasion, such the likes of the Troggs and The Zombies!

Got alot of skill
Amazing guitar work. This type of music isn't typically what i go for as the songs tend to repeat too much, but you have alot of musical surprises in this song that keep me interested. Every part of the song blends well together even with the dial back in the bridge which works so well with such a fast paced song. Great job. Can't wait to hear more.

Keep Rockin
What I like: Love the way you come in with the left only and then pop up full stereo. Like the rhythm. Love the drop beat meter change. Not a lot of people know how to pull that off. Love the mix on it for the most part - the song comes across even at all volume levels which is the right way to mix. So - good for you. Vocals sound good but here comes the place for improvement. Your vocal is good and there is nothing wrong except near the end you go out of tune a few times and your voice cracks. I'd do that over and you've got a good recording. I personally like songs that are not over compressed but in the genre you're in, you might want to try using maximizer and some really strong compression on your voice and go for more of a Red Hot Chilli Petter sound on it.

Nice Throwback Feeling Song
I really liked the Blue Oyster Cult feel to the song. Really nice guitar riffs in the introduction. While I felt that the introduction is a little bit long, it has a really nice feel to it. The vocals feel a bit forced, like they are being sung with the throat a bit too tight. I think that if you relaxed the vocal chords while singing your natural voice would come through and compliment the song. Nice job.

Farmer's Daughter
I like it. This has a real British 70's vibe. Kind of reminds me of Marc Bolan maybe? Good groove. The actual recording quality isn't strong, in my humble opinion. That just proves the point that a strong song is a strong song, even if the recording quality is weak, the song is still good. Very interesting for sure. I wonder who these guys are? I look forward to hearing more.

Farmers Daughter review
I am still a fan of "Smooshy Face", guys! Well, I liked "Farmers Daughter" also...all the way around except for (1) minor thing missing, which is not much. I kept waiting for that shredding guitar solo which never came. You need something in that middle break on 'top' of everything to make it 'pop'. If you do 'that', this song and the others with really 'Rock'. You got the right idea right now, it just needs that little push over the top of a bad/ass guitar riffin' and rippin' it up in the background. Try it and see how it works. GOOD LUCK my friends!

Rush influence was evident
Overall a goodgood tune, well structured. I don't like reading about the bands I review until after I review them. With that being said. I don't know anything about you other than what I'm listening to. the guitar riffs reminded me of rush. The Drummer is solid. Bass player is in the pocket and smoothe. I liked the breakdown in the middle with the lead. Being a guitar/bass player myself I dig what you guys are doing. As a producer my ear tells me the vocal is in need of at least a slight reverb and some pitch correction in places. Overall though great job. Good band, Just Needs a bit of tweaking. AWZ

Interesting mix of guitar and vocal style
Getting a cool vibe from the guitars and vocals, sort of 2 different genre's vocally and musically that you are mixing together. I like it. keep at it, you might have something unique there, which is cool! keep it up!

thoughts
all I can say is WOW. I was not expecting this at all. I love it. Reminds me of the good quality music that used to be popular. the guitar solos are insane and the harmonics are scary good. it's like listening to a bunch of genres at once that aren't polar opposites. Loved the vocals and the lyrics. Just everything made it very ear friendly. The only thing I can say is maybe ease up on the panning just a little but other than that...FUCKIN AWESOME. keep bangin

Farmers Almanac
"DMAC442" has sent me a request to review their song "Farmer's daughter". Sometimes, I will find out later that the artist never sent a request to be reviewed and that Number One Music has sent out an algorithm. I was looking for a song to review and I came upon DMAC442. I can never pass up song's about farmer's daughter's or tool sheds. Song starts off semi tight, loosens up and gets a little sloppy at the end, maybe purposely, placing DMAC442 expression in reference to a farmers daughter? Could use a better mix and more effects. Couldn't hear the lead guitar in the break down. Rock On!

Farmer's daughter
This Track sends mixed vibes. First of all, the drummer is outstanding. The mix of guitars and base is a welcomed add, They Work well together. The vocalist is adequate, but he gets off pitch in places. Now The Song Itself is not my thing, but it is very danceable (Always a plus). The Words seam to tell a story of U.K. village life, where this sort of thing is commonplace, the story even , has its own type of humor. All In All, I Give It A 4.

DMAC442 - Farmer's Daughter - In Review
First off I want to say that the recording quality is lackluster but the song is a hidden gem. I felt the lyrics were very creative and would like to see the vocalist open up a little. It sounds like he was still working it out and feeling the groove. The bass and guitar were equally exciting but often drowned out in the mix. Overall I think the song has great potential and would like to hear it after a full pro mix and master.

Unfinished.
Song flows along nicely until the vocals hit. Ouch. It's as though the singer couldn't hear himself. While the instrumentation is pretty good and definitely in tune, the vocals are buried, bald, and out of tune. There are tools available to fix all of it; I guess they don't own them. Drums sound good, but are over-powering the mix. Bass is tight with the drums, but has bland and frequency-bumpy tone. Guitars are solid, but not making the wall of sound I know they were aiming at. I'd say this track is about half finished. As long as the stems are digital, it could still be made into a pretty good tune.

Not bad, needs a remix
Sounds a bit muddy and VERY bass heavy. Normally not an issue (i'm a bass player), but this is over the top. but the vocals, guitars and drums are buried. Interesting pattern though. Wouldn't mind hearing a remix of this cleaned up. Sounds very "east coast rock" - and, just an opinion, that bridge doesn't seem to fit in this song. Sounds forced. One more note: If you're going to do the funk bass patterns? should probably clean the bass tone a bit. Drummer is nailin' it though!

Review of "Farmers Daughter"....
This is a song which I had the actual C.D. of it to properly review it, as it looses a lot in translation from an .au file to an MP3. I believe the song instrumentally is ROCK solid, great band, as for the singer, he does a great job, as he seems to be almost from another genre like punk (early), but still pulls off a great melody with his own style, and that's alone worth a solid review- Great song, as well as a sound that makes them their own.....and that's always a winner! Hi
I listen Your song 2 times..trying to found something positive about it..be good if You rerecord it with a better vocalist as it is now many Notes are off the tune ( Music Industry do NOT like That )..the intro is too long.. Music Publisher will listen Only 10 sec of the song.. so that much time You are have to "catch Theirs Ear " if not They will NOT listen more..Quality Recording is also not great ( They listen ONLY Radio Ready Quality Recordings )..so re record It and try to contact Them.. I wish You good luck with pitching..

Catchy Rock Song
I am always a sucker for cool rock songs. This one is no exception. I here some influences that include Weezer and even one of my all time favorites.. The Cars. Some cool catchy riffs. Vocals need to make sure to stay on key. Good tune!!
