DOAP (Diary of POET) started her career as a radio announcer in Houston, Texas at KTSU and KYOK. She worked in radio in Los Angeles at Stevie Wonder owned station, KJLH as part of the morning show with Cliff Winston. She has worked as a concert and comedy promoter in Los Angeles. She has been responsible for helping launch many careers of comedians and artists. Her finest accomplishment was getting a new female group that was signed to A&M at the time, “For Real” listened to by Stevie Wonder. The group not only recorded a song for his “Conversation Peace” CD, but was part of his World Tour. She has worked in the television and film business. She has worked on the set of hospital shows “ER”and "Chicago Hope" where she befriended many of the cast members including George Clooney, Hector Elizondo, Rocky Carrol and Mark Harmon. She writes short stories, poetry and plans to write a book. She graduated from Houston Community College May, 2019 where she was a film student and her documentary, InVisible, about the homeless epidemic in colleges and universities nationwide, which she finished before graduation is getting her quite noticed before her big day.

 DOAP is also a homeless activist and plans to run for public office in the near future. Her eye is on Congress and she has created Free Yo Mind TV to give people a platform to do just that Free their minds. She is a lyricist, owns her own publishing company, is currently in discussions on her TV Pilot. She will going in the studio this summer to finish her highly anticipated release a collaboration with some of the Houston hottest underground artists. This team of talent has come together collaborating their minds and came up with a sound that's fun, refreshing, new and exciting. Ep will provide a different flavor of poetry/spoken word, song with various layers of Hip Hop delivery which will make this Master Mix EP a MOST WANTED! She landed on Skid Row in Los Angeles when a friend invite turned wrong, because her friend lived in a Single Room Occupancy room where extra live ins are against policies. While being on Skid Row in a Homeless facility she is filming the Real Life of the Homeless on Skid Row and in the Facilities that most Filmmakers cannot Film unless they are in Justice's shoes as a Homeless Filmmaker. Her plans are attending University of Southern California to pursue her Bachelors degree in Film and hopefully making Brooklyn that birthed her, Houston that Raised her and LA that Taught her Life All Proud.
