I'm an Electric Blues Bass Player. I read bass tab, I know my chords, also know my notes and I'm not that bad on theory either. These days I prefer to play my Hofner 500/1 Bass, along with my Fender Mustang Bass and my American made Fender Black P Bass, with maple fretboard. Due to weight issues, my bad back and the tone. That I can get out of those three basses, is to die for. I've been playing since 2003 and I love playing the bass and riding my motorcycle better than anything, even sex.

I was looking on iTunes yesterday and noticed that there was a band that was already called Cottonmouth. So I realized, that I needed to change the bands name to something else. So I came up with Sideshow Slim. That will be the Bands new name. I haven't found anybody with that name yet. So, that's the new name of my band, Sideshow Slim.
Read moreI've been tied up with having to take care of my ninety year old mother, who has dementia. It's been very hard and trying on me, for the last seven years of my life. I haven't been able to do anything including practicing. But, now she's in a retirement home and I've since moved to Arkansas. Where, I bought a new home and now, I'm working on tighten up my chops to where I was before, I had to take care of an elderly parent. I'm also working on meeting other musicians, so that I can rebuild my band Cottonmouth. I want to mainly play my own originals songs, along with a lot of Blues and few tasty Rock covers.

I quickly got bored with that band, after we lost our lead guitarist. So, I quit The Harper Vally Blues Band. Because it became a major pain in the ass to work the other musicians, that were not on the same playing level as the lead guitarist, along with the rhythm guitarist and myself. The rhythm guitarist stayed, but for how long? Without our lead guitarist, I started to lose interest in the band and finally quit the band. To form another Rocking Blues Band, called Cottonmouth. I hope you'll enjoy the new band. Right now, I'm looking for players to join this new project.
