I've also has also been invited to host my Roots Sessions platform again after a couple years away, with a Songwriters showscase during Westbury's Countryville Festival at Heywood House on August 5th. I will be hosting a set on the main stage with a group of selected performers, including playing a few songs myself. More information coming soon on my webpage (expired link). It had been a long while since my last performance and it was a magical night playing to a full house. I enjoyed performing music from my new flute album for the first time and sharing songs from other albums as well. We're are currently looking into booking some more concerts as this trio. We'll let you know. I'm happy to let you know that my Native American flute based album entitled, Earth to Sky has finally arrived and is now available in both hard copy and digital download across all streaming platforms. So happy to let you know the physical copies of the Earth to Sky album have finally arrived and are now available to purchase. The Cd is now out in both hard copy and digital download across all streaming platforms. This is a limited edition print, available from our web page store section via Pay Pal and on our Bandcamp page. Feels great to hold the finished album in your hands after so much time and energy that went into its making. Guess I'm still a little old school when it comes to music recordings. About Domenic DeCicco
Domenic is an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer/producer, who has travelled the world sharing his music as a solo artist and as co-founder/lead vocalist of the innovative acoustic roots band Praying for the Rain. He is a deeply soulful and compelling musician and storyteller who brings a rich, uncluttered quality to his music that fills his songs with evocative imagery and lyrical narrative. He has toured across the UK and throughout Europe, Canada, Africa, Japan and the Middle East and has performed at festivals such as Glastonbury, Womad and Stainsby and at London’s Union Chapel and South Bank. Originally from Canada, of Italian heritage, he now makes his home in Somerset, UK.
Following the successful release of the album Never Letting Go in 2021, a singer-songwriter based acoustic album, Domenic has recently released a new instrumental album (December 2023) entitled, Earth to Sky. The album’s collection of pieces features Native American flutes that were recorded over many years both in Canada and the UK. They were inspired by the beauty of this world we share and our connection with the land, the sea, the sky & the air.
