This song has a very rock sound both vocally and musically. The vocals and lyrics are quite unique in that it sounds like a story is being told, what I call, talking singing. I would have liked to have heard the finished version.

I thought the music in the background could be a little more venturous but I believe the writer wanted it that way because this is a bit of a ballad, an expressive song where he is trying to convey a message to his loved one.
