First of all Don is a story teller, I love that in a song. He puts passion in his voice while singing out the story of glad to be alive. Song writing is a gift and telling a story brings the listener in if it has substance and can move the listener. We all can relate to Don's song and having a positive message like this one is why I'm taking the time to review. I hear Johnny in this song but it is still fresh and worth taking the time to listen to. Well done Don!

You already got up to me, compared to others. Really strange music. but it has something. You see yourself as a rockabilly, americana or country rock musician, but that differs quite a bit in my opinion. I did listen to some other tracks of your's, but i'll hear poems whit disappointment , despair, hoop or anger and guided by a guitar. Its' really simpel, but it's there... just exactly as it should be in combination whit the vocal. Really wel done.

I don't know how to judge this except for theoretically. It doesn't seem to have proper structure although it is pleasant and soothing to relax by. I fear I am not the one to properly review your song but, I do wish you the best and am interested in hearing what you compose and arrange in the future.
