About Don Jaymor
Don Jaymor is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, and record producer. Jaymor was born in the south Bronx of New York City to an African-American mother and Jamaican father. Much of Jaymor's upbringing had been surrounded with musical influences and various styles of music ranging from R&B, Reggae, Pop, and Hip-Hop/Soul. He changed his music alias from Donnavin J to Don Jaymor in 2006 via (expired link), where his music began to build exposure. In 2011, Jaymor was nominated for his single “Overdue” at the Underground Music Awards (for Best Male Vocals), the nomination furthered his exposure also opened the door to opportunities for “Overdue” to be placed on networks like MTV and BET. Few of his single releases have been reviewed by professional critics including (expired link), (expired link), DJ Mr. Shox music blog, (expired link), and others! Jaymor is most known for his 2010 collaboration ("Get Down, Get Low REMIX") with German producers DJ Dila & PTB Beatz, and hit music superstar Pitbull. Since then he has released numerous albums ("Young, Gifted, and Black," “Blues and Dark Shadows") online via Bandcamp, iTunes, and Soundcloud! Including his most recent album release “FADE,” which is his debut self-composed and produced album.
