Song Reviews

You Looking For Love?

You looking for love? Look no further.. Here it is summed up for you in this great song 'Where Is The Love'. I love a song that follows through on it's title. Great arrangement, strong pop vocals and a rhythmic bass driven bottom. Nothing but a good, positive pop song for your enjoyment. As much as I love gospel in it's vocal only environment, I love it even more when it is accompanied by music that absolutely fits with the feeling of the vocals. For that I would have enjoyed having some more musical presence. Now this is just me. I figure if you are going to provide musical background for any vocal driven song, bring it on and don't be shy. Whether this song needs anything else is up to who is listening to it. Even though I made the comment I made, I will take this song exactly as it was delivered, every time.

Kirk Franklin style

This is a incredible track I love it. I love the harmonies and the instruments that are playing in it. And the faint of the music harmonizing is relaxing. You should keep doing these kind of tracks because they will take you very far to wherever you’re going. I would love to have this track and use it for one of my songs in the future hopefully. Let me know if you’re interested in that. Keep up the great work.

Great message!

This song has a really good message, and the chorus is great. The choir is awesome as well as the arrangement. The lead singer seems to have more to give, but is keeping it a little safe. It gets better at the end, and over all the song is great!

Love this!!!!

I love the intro of "Where is the love?" The harmonies are really good. I love the lyrics and the arrangement. This message is very touching about God's love being universal and given to all His children. That is the message that needs to be given around the globe. I am like you, I believe that we all need to spread love that was given to us by God as He commanded us to give. I love, love, LOVE these lyrics. Thank you for writing this and recording this. This touched me as a singer, songwriter and a human being. I have found that I need to add this song to my favorites.

Donna Walton Review

ok this track has a R & B feel to the production that has a great uplifting feel to the vocals and production plus an added pop uptake that holds as the prodominent and main outward projection of the produced finish and this is a quality produced track the main feel to the track still holds a an 80s feel to the track along with the mastering so refreshingly new but yet holding a nostalgic essance to the final track theres all ways room for this kind of music as there are people who enjoy the lazy days on a beach front listening to the vibes that give them the sort after feeling of relaxed and smooth essance of a summer day great to listen to and sure to be popular with those who search out the summer fun i personnelly would update the finish and mastering to give this track a new edge to the mastering that would also improve the appeal to a wider audience and if you have just landed on the page do please catch this and have a good listen to the musical composition pps turn on the surround sound ausome and check out the other features from this production team all the best this review was from Groovecutter

Excellent Christian Rock

Mixing soulful lyricism with poetic imagery. You have successfully managed to create an own identity in your music. A quite a dedicated following. Integrating several international elements and creating your own unique style. Good sound and a perfect song for Christian radio. Where is the love? I found it here. But where is a chart position? You have excelled in the genre of Christian Rock, whilst truly making it your own. Btw why genre hiphop?

Outstanding song perfect arranged

Brilliant cross-over gospel song wonderful lyrics and vocals. The intro sarts off with choral voices and very engaging beat accompanied by great acoustic guitar chords coming at the right time. The vocals of Bert Cross dominates with personal story and messages from the heart touching the soul. Various keyboard operated sounds producing a wide variety of effects and combining midi signals of different frequencies. This extra factor makes the song professional and creative. Professional recording very good mixed and mastered. It´s worth to listen and I´m sure you will like to add him. Let others know your recommendation.

Where is the love by Bert Cross 2 The Donna Walton Gospel Network

Where is the love by Bert Cross 2 The Donna Walton Gospel Network. OK so in this song we are reminded "he did not make the world this way." He I am assuming is referring to god. I think its great that god is a he rather than being a more modern feminist she. The bigger point to the lyrics is god did not make the world this way but let's take it a step further and say the world did not start this way one way or another. The problem I've seen in my life at one time living right near a born again church was that god or Jesus was going to come back and FIX IT! Unfortunately Mr. Jesus blew off his 2000 birthday and of course it would have been a real party. This was a bit of a bummer because of course he did not come back and FIX IT! I think the other people positions of power in the world should have been moving towards harmony since about the 1950s We just cannot rely on Jesus to FIX IT anymore. Having just watched Steve Martin in the movie leap of faith there is a good demonstration of the potential of gospel music. The back up vocals here are probably my favorite part of the tune.

Love Shines Bright

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song harkens back to the late 60's and early 70's Motown. The light musical production is perfect for springtime. Lyrically, the songs speaks to our society today and a reminder of "Where is the love" and a great message for us to hear. The lead singer sounds a little like Al Green. A nice refreshing voice today!

Hi

We look forward to the time when the Power of Love will replace the Love of Power. Then will our world know the blessings of peace.Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver. Those who love deeply never grow old; they may die of old age, but they die young. Thanks and good luck!
