I love this. Starting off with the exhortation of the man who needs more of God in his life is powerful like we all have this effect in our life. We all want more of our father, and times we may fall short but this is evident, But God, Jesus Christ's blood has been shed to remove all that from us. I liked the arrangement of the music. The accompaniment tracks seem to be layered in the right places maintaining resonance throughout the song. The vocals are very inviting to listen to being very easy on my ears in a very harmonious melodic presence. You all did an outstanding job with this song, especially with content of the message. This is such a great song with great meaning especially with so much going on in the world today. It gives people a sense of hope even when we get off track and to not give up. I love it, it's a spiritual i'd put on repeat when i'm on the move. On my way to work, at work, cleaning grocery shopping etc. This is what I normally do the to regulars in, or on my playlist. I enjoyed it i'd love love to hear more of your music.

I love this song. I am always impressed with artists that use creative ways to communicate the gospel message. Very clean vocals and interesting arrangement. Very pleasing to the listener. This will draw many who loved R&B,t the same time introducing JESUS to nonbelievers.

"Prayer of the Backslider" by Norris Williams gets my attention right away, because it speaks to my own tendency to slide into a secular way of living and my years as a prodigal son. The drums and bass are excellent, and the keys and bass set a sophisticated urban vibe. Then the lead vocal comes in strong (Norris can sing, y'all), and the lyric starts with an honest heart cry of "I miss You." But then the harmony vocals come in, blowing my mind with their glorious pitch-perfection, adding an unexpected Wow! factor. The way the backing vocals are used sometimes as the lead vocal is also remarkable. The musicianship in this recording is first-class from start to finish, and so is the production, arrangement, and mix. This is among a small handful of the very best songs I have heard on N1M. I continue to marvel at Donna Walton's excellent taste. Reviewing the songs she brings forward is a real pleasure.

Very nice song. Awesome hook. Lyrics were planned and wrote perfectly! Artist song with all his heart and had a nice story to tell. The choir sounded nice. Nice mix without a master. Would have been even better if you had a rap on the end to close the song out. I enjoyed listening and cant wait to hear more!

The beat needs to be updated sound like the early 90s....which causes the lyrics to get lost....the credence is ok the hook is a little rushed due to so many words...the concept is great it just needs to be updated

I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the message in this song.Think about a music solo break to step away from vocals for a short period in future works. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way.
