Singer, Songwriter, and Producer:
Donnell Sullivan was born June 6. He was raised in the small town of St. Francisville, Louisiana. His love of music came at a very young age. Donnell’s father, Mr. Leroy Sullivan, was in a band and at the tender age of five Donnell remembers listening to him sing and watching closely as he played the guitar. When his father would go to work, Donnell would play around with the guitar, mostly getting it out of tune, but eventually he taught himself to play and sing the very songs he had heard his father perform.
Donnell began showcasing his talents by making home studio music and singing in his community. It was in 2007 that he started singing professionally. He has written 100’s of songs and continues to develop his God given talent by working passionately to create beautiful, satisfying, and heartfelt music. Donnell’s song writing, producing, and singing talent is clearly exhibited in his hit CD “BACK It UP”
In addition to his father, Donnell’s biggest influences in the music industry are: Tyrone Davis, Marvin Sease, and Keith Sweat. When you listen to his music you will hear all three artists with a twist of his own style.
To many of his fans Donnell Sullivan is known as “Southern Soul Satisfaction.” His sweet sensual voice is definitely satisfying to those who listen!
