There was a terrible train wreck in Quebec in 2013; in the spring of 2014, I wrote a tribute & memorial for Lac-Mégantic, 'A Runaway Train', which has appeared here twice. Inspired by Gordon Lightfoot's song 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald', my song is entered in the CBC Searchlight song contest this year. A link is provided below FYC and daily voting is permitted.
