January Without You (Janvier sans Toi)
Song Reviews
Futuristic and Original Sound
"January Without You", by Dream Dust has a futuristic and original sound that is spacey and airy. The percussion in the background compliments the overall feeling as the floating vocal phrasings tell the story. Nice song.

Good Vibes!
like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with the vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

Good Song
The song sounds great the ambiance is mixed well with the guitars and the keyboard. I wished the drums and the bass to have more presence in the mixed track. Keep up the good work on this original style of music !

Bop review dream dust, here’s a cool song with lots of cool things happening here, great opening with a powerful drum and bass guitar hitting you hard. The mix on the kit is exceptional. Great keyboards and other rhythm instruments. Great vocal track, great mix, great overall production. This in my opinion is a new wave/rock sounding song, overall I really enjoyed jamming out to this song, great track..

Review of Dream Dust song January Without You
I have been playing and listening to rock and blues music since the late 60's. I liked this song. It is progressive enough to catch my attention and yet rooted in rock traditions. The musicianship demonstrated in this song is excellent. The vocals are typical of the current trend of highly advanced vocalists in a rock or hard rock setting. There is alot going on instrumentally and vocally and this sometimes tends to cause one aspect to wash out or be overbearing on the other. It is an entertaining song nontheless.

European club feel
opening viola/strings with a subtle female voice uttering "ah" precludes a keyboard line that is reminiscent of euro club music from a decade ago. A well played Drum line and sparingly used over driven and compressed guitar line almost make up for what ends up being a slightly pitchy vocal throughout. One cannot help but wonder if a touch of auto-correct would help to keep the vocal in key, or if this was the effect the artist is going for.

January Just Got Warmer
One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song, partly non-English I can focus on the singers tonal qualities - very Pet Shop Boys in style. The blending of vocals with the instrumentation are ethereal and dramatic. The synth pop styling bring me back to the late 80's and music I'd hear in the dance clubs of the day. Nice work!

Nice song
I like the song, but the vocals are so swimming in reverb I can't figure out the language, but some of the words are English. I can't figure out the lyrics at all, only some words. Musically its fine, but the mix needs a desperate improvement to improve the clarity of the vocals, and the overall sound. The lead guitar interferes with the clarity of the vocals also. The mix.... the mix.... it will bring out the song.

January Without You review
I have written reviews on some of your earlier songs and the same issue is in this one. I love the moving drums and the heavy synth pads with the guitars punching in here and there. The biggest problem I have is the vocals get washed out and covered up a little too much in mainly the first half of the song. They seem to come in a little stronger towards the end of the song, but the listener will struggle to hear what she is singing in the first half. There is always that possibility you could lose the listeners interest during that time, if they can't make out the vocals. Just a suggestion. Good luck!

January Without You (Janvier sans Toi) - Dream Dust
Song start from unusual, accented keyboard input. And sensual sighs. Nice. Women voc is mixing lyrics in French and English respectively, verses and choruses. Main motiv lead synthetiser and drums. Voice line provide in this same time guitar line. Tones of the dialed telephone number and waiting for a call. I'm not sure if one singer or two are singing. It is very difficult to clearly classify the type of music played by Dream Dust. You have to listen to it for yourself. Greetings, Maciej ATRAPA

Don't understand.
The problem with this sound is that the voice is not audible. Either the music is too loud or the voice is not loud enough. We come to have trouble understanding the lyrics. However, the lyrics of a song are the basis. I have the impression of hearing French and English. Funny mixture. For that, the piece does not seem to me to be accomplished at all. To work !
