About Drizum
Andre Robinson Better Known As Drizum Is An American Singer, Songwriter And Producer. He Is Also A Developing Entrepreneur And Mentor To Young Adults In Need Of Guidance. Drizum Has Been In Love With Music Since The Age Of 5, Which Led To Him Joining Chorus At Age 6 Singing Classical Compositions. Born And Raised In Columbia South Carolina, Drizum Had Many Musical Influences; Such As Smokey Robinson, Sam Cook, And Babyface. In His Early Developing Stages As A Teenager, Artist Such As Outkast, Tupac And Later Tip Harris Or TI, Were Amongst His List Of Top Influences. Rico Wade, James Prince, And Master P, Along With Sean Diddy Combs, And Jay-Z, Were Some Of His Other Influences.
Singing In The School Chorus From Age 6 Through High School, Drizum Acquired The Technique On How To Find Melodies And Harmonies, Compose Music And Words, And He Began Converting Them Into His Own Creative Compositions. After Graduating High School, Music Became A Major Priority For Him At The Age Of Eighteen And It Ultimately Had Driven Him From South Carolina To Atlanta, Georgia.
He Endured Many Tough Challenges During His Transition From South Carolina To Georgia.
Though He Had Family In Atlanta, It Was Still Very Difficult Going Through The Growing Pains Of Being In A Big City Without A Vehicle, While Looking For Work And Being Committed To Fulfilling His Music Dreams. During His Challenging Times In Atlanta, He Remained Focused On His Craft, Until One Day He Met Local Producers “Lo Joe” & “Pep Of Traks4Dayz,” Which Believed In Drizum And Took Him Under Their Wings In 1999.
Drizum Was Given An MPC 60, Proteus Sound Module, Midi Keyboard And Went To Work. In The Year 2000, Drizum Went Through The Struggles Of Wanting To Get An Artist Deal Or Songs Placed On Other Projects. From Performing Live In The Parking Lot Of Diddy’s Restaurant Justin's, To Writing For Local Artist Tested His Dedication And Determination.
In 2001, He Finally Got A Chance To Work With The Female R&B Group “Blaque” Founded By The Late Lisa “Left Eye" Lopez Of The Famous Trio Group TLC.
Since 2002, Drizum Has Been Working Behind The Scenes With Various Famous Artist And Projects Including, The Late Phife Dawg From The Legendary Group “A Tribe Called Quest", The Late Andre “LA DRE” Bolton, Legendary Producer From Ruthless Records, R&B Singer Lloyd, R&B Singer Lil Will, Elgin “Big E" Wright, R&B Singer Jawan Jackson And
Others…
Drizum Has Now Come Around Full Circle To Focus On His Solo Career. He Is Currently Working With King El Rey Founder Of Indigenous Entertainment, Exotic Paradise And IWB Co-operative. The Music Known As Drizum Music Is Now Officially Coined As “High Resonance Mu-sic”.
