Well it's summer time and the music festival season is under way. For those of you in the Mid West check my facebook page at (expired link) for locales and dates. For the fans who can't make it out to a show I have just released another single. Big City Lights is a rousing funkadelic blues jam with a classic rock vibe. The ending was inspired by some of the great 70's bands that would switch up the tempo for a cool fade out.

Jazz Medicine is the second album from multi instrumentalist Scott Michael Sims, aka: Dr. Tuxedo. A slight departure from his previous work, Jazz Medicine is less of a traditional jazz album and more of a fusion between jazz, blues, & funk. Still very much groove oriented and rhythm driven this latest album offers up some acid jazz guitar and swirling psychedelic atmospheric sounds. The addition of keyboards to his sound is a nod to the influences of 70's soulful jazz.
