Jazz Medicine is the second album from multi instrumentalist Scott Michael Sims, aka: Dr. Tuxedo. A slight departure from his previous work, Jazz Medicine is less of a traditional jazz album and more of a fusion between jazz, blues, & funk. Still very much groove oriented and rhythm driven this latest album offers up some acid jazz guitar and swirling psychedelic atmospheric sounds. The addition of keyboards to his sound is a nod to the influences of 70's soulful jazz.
