Lyrics seem to me about relationship and that's what we need all going forward, Timing you could practice to a click seemed when you strummed and the guitar lead picked, up the song started to lift, so from that mode i would suggest the bass could do with light drum/percussion to give it some structure. You could do with a vocal trap. as you sing can hear you bouncing off the walls and then add reverb to suit, and you can try not holding on to words and notes too long. think also you could go up a few more bpm. Hi mr Risley. This song is well intended: It's a warm song and I like every song with a title like that. The lyrics are great, the guitar sounds hot and your voice sounds as if you're singing from your heart. That's all good. But. I think the composition could have been more elaborate, because I believe that the more nuanced a song is, the more it gets stuck into people's heads. And it ends too abruptly. A song is always some sort of mathematical parametre, and, the more complicated the parametre the more unique the song and the more unique it may sound. E.g. Have you ever listened to the new album by Paul McCartney, Paul McCartney III ? He even uses chords that nearly never have been used before, but there really are some pearls on it. Still. I believe in your capacities and would definitely like to hear more of your songs. So. Keep up the good work !

Not the best sound on this one. The tune is quite ok but Duane Risley maybe should avoid gliding on the notes with his voice.It does not work like it is intented.. The lyrics are ok. But the track needs a some more work and some better recording facilities

Duane has a nice way of capturing a full sound on his acoustic guitar parts. The short lead parts sprinkled in added a nice touch but the overall message of the song is something we could use more of in the music industry. The fact that he kept it simple and didn't overwhelm the song with other instruments complimented the overall message too.

I will say this is a nice song written obviously from the heart. There are many elements to songwriting and there really isn't any dead set format. And even though this one tends to stay in a small area of it's direction, it would sound much better if you took it into a studio and had a good engineer/producer do their magic to it. Taking this song's track and embellishing on it with studio players would only give your efforts the polish that you would be proud of playing. The cost would not be that much and the end result would be well worth the money. Please let me know if you take the advice and I would love to hear it afterwards. Good luck moving forward!

The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, Consider adding a slight amount of processing on your vocals a little , not singing in a tunnel, more natural sound, but, not dry and flat either. I really enjoyed the acoustic sounds in this song.Think about a music solo break to step away from vocals for a short period in future works. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Coffee House style I love. Guitar Chording is strong with weak vocals. Could use piano, organ or some type of back ground to fill gaps. Author should consider a professional recording studio with an actual producer.
