Nice Slow Jam
I like the intro on this track. I background intro was nice blended/mixed together.Nice smooth hook to this track as well Good storyline that went nicely with the track. If there was anything that I would change/ add to this track would be a nice saxophone track or a female vocalist to aide with the lead. But all and all you have a nice romantic track! Keep up the good work! -Chandler-

Good Background and Chorus Vocals
Ok... Nice vocals on the track when it comes to the background. And I like the melody on the chorus. I like the music as well. For some reason the was a part of the song made me literally think of Boyz To Men possibly singing this song. But that was based entirely on the chorus alone. Your lead vocals need some work. First thing about the lead that jumped out right away is your first ad lib. Completely killed the song before it got started in my opinion. I almost stopped the song because I said to myself "this ain't gonna work". And it was within the first minute of the song. The whole "telephone effect" is not working with this song. It's also not needed. Also, when you sing the first verse you sound like it's already in the middle of the song with your intensity and vocalb runs. Let the song build up to that. Just like lyrics, your delivery needs a beginning, middle and then an ending. You sound like you're almost giving it the middle before you get the song going. Sometimes "Less is better". Had you done a basic, toned down, simplified vocal you would have more stars. The way it is now, feels like a demo, reference vocal. Meaning it sounds like you recorded the vocals for someone else to learn in order for them to sing/record the song. You should get some vocal training or practice more if you intend to be a lead vocalist. You can sing, but you get "pitchy". You sound like you would do great singing some of them old school joints. Keep your vocals simple man. Last but not least. The lyrical content can be changed. Maybe it's how you sang it with so much intensity but, I'm not feeling all of the lyrics in the verses. Your words are "too direct". Takes the "class" away from the music. Just my opinion of course. But as a DJ, producer and engineer I would have you rerecord this song. Keep pushing. This song isn't bad, just needs some fine tuning.

Very Kool Tune....
Overall i think this song hits ALL the marks. the hook is well defined and quite effective. the instrumental track is well constructed and very emotional. i feel the lyrics are well written and clearly expresses the feelings of the singer. i love the vocal performance of the lead singer as well as the background harmonies in the tune. i especially liked the singer's falsetto choices he made a couple of times. Dubyyyyyyyy!!! you did a grrreat job on this song. continued success my brother :)

Smooth the way i feel music should be
From the beginning to the end the song to me is a good RnB Soulful Masterpiece. This is the type of music i can listen to i like. I like the blends and harmony the silk vocals laid out on a silky rhythm background.

Review Take Me Now
I'm enjoying the laid back beat, enjoying the harmonies; vocals are good for most of track, but there are bars where the range was just straining; piano work sounds good, but was too distant in mix; sweet baby is NOT; the intro has evident key problems with the instruments. Duby I'm playing producer here, you know; overall the track is too busy; most important the track is too long; cut up to a minute off.

She said take me now
Vocals are very good. The background loop is repetitive. Song has a good hook and extremely good harmonies. I think a bridge would take it to another plateau. I think the artist was striving to sound like today's artists and not reaching for his "signature " sound. This song musically could be more unique.A good start though.Music should take you to where you haven't been. .

Mix ain't right
The song is dragging, he seem like a young guy, that doing a older song. Too much reverb, and that snap is too loud. He voice not bad, just need someone to write him something up to date. I wish youngblood well.

Dawan just loves this music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DAWAN is a native of Detroit, MI (Eastside). DAWAN is natural when it comes to singing. At the early age of 4 is when he began to sing, little did he or his family know they were witnessing the start of a talented young man with a singing career awaiting for him. His first love is truly performing and singing. When he was 5 years old he appeared in commercials sponsored by the "City for Youth," an organization based in Detroit. During his teenage years he was featured in a Detroit Job Corps Center documentary, " Struggling Teens and Family Situations that Forced Teens to become Adults at an Early Age." DAWAN really began to be serious about his recording career during his teenage years where he started to collaborate with many local acts and National musical artists including MOET, Ready for the World (multi-platinum selling international R&B group), and Marcus Cole of Commissioned (platinum selling gospel group), and Marcus Johnson of the Marcus Johnson Project and Three Keys (a division of MaramelJ Entertainment) to name a few. It is in 1993 when he began to professionally record for the then MCA (Music Corporation of America) Records producers Keith (KDS) and Eric Scott. Throughout the years he has definitely gained the necessary experience to be a significant part of the music world we have today. He shot tremers through thousands of fans with his singing at the Circle City Classis Indianapolis a few years ago, a Coca-Cola sponsored event. The people that day witnessed a star in the making, and DAWAN will stop at nothing to rule R&B to the fullest. DAWAN is truly R&B's "Best Kept Secret." His weaponry of skills goes beyond expectations. Often, people mistakenly look at him as a rapper, and even though he can rap, his heart and fascination remains with R&B. His vocal skills are dazzling, exciting, spontaneous, and down right fantastic. Words alone can't express what this young man can do for the soul. The debut solo album for DAWAN under the direction of his record label Stoneage Entertainment has been named Freedom's Son And Is Available On Itunes And Amazon, so come back soon to find out Where You Can Check Out His Performances. The album is based on his past relationships and situations he's witnessed or experienced. His ability to sing, rap,as well as produce the music and write the songs are some of the traits that separate him from most other music professionals. He aims to please, and that's what puts his album above the rest. "His desire to ignite, excite, and entertain will turn your blue day into a happy day, these are some of the reasons why we chose to sign DAWAN. If you weren't blue to begin with, then he'll still make you smile anyway, as his music soothes the soul, shoots up your adrenaline, and enflames your spirit, and gets you in the mood. His debut album is Freedom's Son Available At iTunes, Amazon,(expired link) God Giv'in Dawan's Second Round Cd Is Also Available at The Same Online (expired link) in the near future Let It All Hang Out Will Hit You, But The Single Like Tai & China Is Available For Listening Soon On Itunes.
