I feel the bass groove for sure and that EWF iNFLUENCE. i WOULD HAVE LOVED TO RATE it more just found the production lacking at bit but that is good still. Keep up the funk I am glad it is coming back.

Interesting combination of textures,very different for Funk.I love how the lyrics feature"the bass" as a Theme(A Bass Love Song if you will).I don't think i've "Ever" hear a musician feature the main " mover" in that manner.Are you playing directly into the sound board ? The vocals,really "sell" this song,Bass and Keys right behind.A Remix and edit,to balance out the rhythm section with the rest of whats going on here.This son Works for A Grown Folks Club;Radio;and Summer Driving.

Very nice smooth rythm going on here. Could here this going to a big city eating at one of those cafe's or bars with some wine or something lol. Duceman can, knows and sure makes you feel that he masters bass guitar. This tune got that old school true musican feel to it which is so sorely missing from today's music. It brings the fun in funk. It takes you back all the while carrying you through today. A must hear!!!
