Duceman song Push Up On Love almost reminds you of what Nate Dogg would have sounded like on top of a rocking soul song. In a good way. Duceman voice has a quality very similar to the late HIP HOP star known for the many hooks he did. I listened to this song, the lyrics were nice, soft rock beat feel as well. It's a nice album filler but not an out front song. You have better songs, I've heard them; not everyone is going to feel this one. Keep up the good work and trust this is not a slam because I have two songs on my cd that are fillers as well that I thought were some of my best work. Honestly, this song didn't grab me as quickly as the other tunes I've heard by Duceman. It evolved into a nice tune with good lyrics. I enjoy his songs a lot, but the mixes are a little weak and don't showcase the craftsmanship of his songwriting and arranging very well. It leaves him with a very 80's sound, reminds me of the stuff you would hear on Friday Night Videos before the technology and engineering caught up with each other. I would love to take his vocal stems and create an arrangement/ remix under him.
