Interesting twist to this poetic episode. This recording left me longing for an extension to this track. I wondered why the poet was playing hard to get. He was obviously interested in HER... he gave her his phone number. I also liked the absence of musical accompaniment. There was nothing to crowd the listener's ear. The voice of the poet is captivating. The delivery is intriguing. What did he actually say? Did he allow his imagination to take over the conversation? Did he even answer the phone? Well done Omnyama Inkosi!

A lovely simple idea coming from a very deep place. Its mainly spoken which is not done enough today as so many have a very fixed idea about what is creativity and work in a very narrow band. This is how I have worked and although this track is only 56 seconds long it is profound, deep and heartfelt with just enough music to make it a song. I would personally like to help as a producer because within this there is a longer track that can be found with a good collaborator and there is hit in there. so approach me if you want to find a partner

The inference here is the gap between the inner landscape of a young man who sounds trapped physically but also mentally and emotionally, in the gap between his relationship with his mother and that of developing a relationship with a girlfriend and how that landscape can be fraught with a bridge consisting of lies to get to the other side, freedom without restriction. Very poignant. It beckons us to realise the perils of parent and their offspring and how easy it is to tell lies in order to achieve freedom.

I can relate to Depression for I battle it daily and the path You were traveling in your Expression is Excellent, i just wish it was longer. I was listening intently and then it faded. I dig it, just wish it was longer....

Hi am a spoken word artist myself. I love spoken word because it gives you time to think about what the speaker is saying. I like your track because you took time to eloquently state what you were trying to say and when you would change subject or look to highlight something you are saying you know how to change the tone of your voice and that helps :-)

Beyond my Smiles review. this song is a strictly spoken word piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in spoken word style as I said everything recalls the spoken word genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a ispoken word piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job
