“D.” Aka DCou aka DC Tha MC is an aspiring Canadian songwriter who began writing short poems at the age of 11. “D.” first started listening to rap/hip hop at the age of 13, and was so influenced that he began writing music of his own. On Dec 31st 2005, just three years later, DCou had self-produced his first musical project, which included writing the lyrics and performing all of the sound engineering himself. Several years later, D. has done more than 5 independent mixtapes and quite a few features, his flows, combined with his clever and catchy choruses quickly picked up. At the age of 17, “D.” ventured into a new side of the hip hop world, D. picked up quite an interest in Producing (not the beats but the idea of building and mastering an album/mixtape) every project put out including video clip editing, music, advertising, marketing to managing the Label.
D. kick off the record label after realizing that there is nothing better than working with “Family”, evendentally the name “We Family Entertainment” came to mind and it quickly picked up from there.
