We are a 5 piece Metalcore band based in South Africa. Escape Route`s sound is a cross between anger, hatred, love among other "emotions" placed in our music. With riffs that make you want We are a 5 piece Metalcore band based in South Africa. We are beginning to discover our true place in metal and our own unique "EER" sound. Initially we began playing conventional metal but our sickened tastes and macabre views led us to seek harder genres of metal! Our influences range from bands like DEICIDE to bands like BLIND GUARDIAN. We have changed our formation over the months, we are now a five piece band consisting of drums, bass, 2 guitars and standing vocalist. Our lyrics are mysterious and dark yet understandable. Our songs are based on philosophical views on life and our music is not attached to any religious following although our band members believe in various religions/faiths. OUR main influence is Killswitch Engage. Enemy Escape Route`s sound is a cross between anger, hatred, love among other "emotions" placed in our music. With riffs that make you want to mosh, beats that drop your jaw and intense vocals with a harmonic feel.
