A Hard Rock band with a metal edge based out of Eugene, Oregon. 4 part harmonies, growling undertones, heavy guitar riffs, and haunting unique vocals of female lead Mavis Check them out on all your fa Engraved, a hard hitting alternative rock band, has been on the scene performing on various stages for 13 years. Starting back in 2001 with Josh Carpenter and Mavis Blanchfill, Engraved came out with their first professional CD in 2003. Purely bass driven with Josh's melodic picking, Engraved hit the local scene head on and captured many fans with their heavy melodic sound and unique female vocals while playing up and down the I-5 corridor for several years. In 2012, Engraved reassembled with an all acoustic ensemble as Josh put down the bass and picked up the guitar. Adding congas and djembe, as well as 18 year old guitarist Austin Blanchfill to complete this acoustic foursome. Keeping with their original hard rock sound and adding a post core metal edge, Engraved Acoustic morphed into something quite unique as they came out with a new CD and toured several cities, playing a wide range of venues from coffee houses and bars, to The Wow Hall.
As EngraveD goes into 2014, they have come back to their electric roots and have added a dynamic young drummer Tanner Toy to their roster. Holding on to those true beginnings, Josh Carpenter, once again has added back the familiar melodic bass. Now with 4 part harmonies, growling undertones, heavy guitar riffs, and haunting unique vocals of Mavis Blanchfill, there is no denying this band's sound will rise up, and live on to be EngraveD into the hearts and souls of people all over the world!
