Dearest Chosen Ones,
Eric, here. I am here to inform you of the end of Chosen By Fate.

The band did the best we could trying to get our music out to you. Over the years we met many new friends and some old ones. This decision was not made lightly, nor was it made out of haste. Time went along and before we knew it, ten years has passed us by, since we became a band back in 2013.

Without getting personal by going into too much detail, the main reason for this decision is that we recently learned that all three of us want to get different things out of CBF. Our interests have divided. Call it creative differences or wanting different things from it, this is what has occured. No one knows what the future will hold, but suffice it to say that we are still friends. I will be looking for new musicians to work with on my music. As for Skip and Jeff, you’ll have to ask them. We’re all human, here, just trying to walk each other through life….

On Oct. 15th, 2021, CBF entered the hallowed halls of Wayne State University’s recording studio to record our new EP.
It turned out quite well.
As soon as it is available online, I’ll post links to it.

As many of you may have already guessed, during this unprecedented pandemic, we’ve been limited to doing only live broadcasts via social media.
That’s ok, though.
What you may not have heard is that we are writing new music. We will make further announcements as new information becomes available. Keep an eye on our social media.

Chosen By Fate!

As many of you already know, we have been a three piece band since we parted ways with our former singer. We have diligently worked from that point to re-identify ourselves and our sound.
We think you will approve of our new identity and sound, once you have heard it.
This Saturday we are doing a Cage session in Concord, MI., which is essentially a live recording session with a studio audience.
We will keep you informed of the results.
Since we cannot promise it will yield the results we are after, we cannot promise we will post any new tracks. That said, we are confident that this session will yield excellent results and we will likely be posting new tunes on here and our other social media accounts sometime in the next month.

There have been so many requests to download one or more of the songs from our now limited edition EP (World Astray), but due to the fact that we've parted ways with our now former lead singer, we cannot allow for downloading. However, we have another option for you; one, you can come to a future show to purchase one ($5), or two, you can email us your request to;

and please don't forget to provide us your snail mail (postal mail) address along with your request email and we will send you a disk free of charge. We promise NEVER to spam your inbox!! Keep in mind we only printed 250 of these disks, so once the supply has run out, there will be no more. We will announce it once the supply has run dry.

In recent news, we have been writing a great deal since we decided to cut back to a three peice band, in preparation for recording our first full length album. We will keep you updated, both here and on our other social media sites.

In the meantime, feel free to comment/communicate with us, we are not shy, and nor do we believe were better than anyone else (no egos), so yeah, its a safe space.

While we're at it, we should say thank you to all of you who support local live music, for without YOU, there would not be a music scene!

This is a montage. We are currently working on new songs as well as video concepts for currently existing songs, like World Astray.

Hello CBF Fans!
We are in the midst of a long process of listening back to ideas we've improvised over the last year or so, thanks to the DAW we use to record them with. Of course, the ultimate goal of this is to create a full album for you to purchase.
Its too early on in the process to predict when it will be finished.
Stay tuned to this site for further news of this sort.
