UP your inStituTions!
I will speak to the song lyrics which is my forte, as I am not an instrumentalist, but a composer. This song has what it takes for Revolution. The beginning reminds me of the song by the Beatles "Revolution" in it's basic truths. Erik has a way of entertaining his listeners while revealing truths about mankind's double minded nature. It is time for a Revolution in thought and action in this earth. The most powerful tool is to change the thoughts and perceptions of the current status quo. The tools employed have in the past been Music & Songs reflecting the need for change like in Live Aid with Bob Geldof and friends. When will we learn. Keep shining that light of truth forth, it will reach the right people at the right time for a new beginning to be forged.

Innovative Indierock-song
I am always surprised by the versatility of Erik Careswell´s compositions. He manages to create an impressive sound with a brilliant instrumentation that reminds me of recordings from the eighties. I like the synthesizer effected sound from the beginning of the song which acompanes the whole song through the end. Erik performs with his unique vocals and the intro sounds like a story. Also the powerfull beat of the drum- and bass-lines forcing the music constantly on a higher level. Roughly distortioned e-guitar accompaning the wohle song incidentally what makes the arrangement complete. Erik is playing obviously all instruments in this recording very masterfull! I find the composition extremely good and he has as songwriter a god given talent to give an account in words about someone or something, including all the relevant characteristics, qualities, or events. But why do I tell this? Well, you might be a alternative or indie rock fan and that song puts you in the right place. I´m sure, you will also hear, why Erik Careswell is rank #1 on N1M.

Important
We need more music like this, with attitude, groove and message. Great hooks and well produced. Excellent lyrics and your voice is unique. There needs to be more political songs that inspire people and encourage them to reject the corruption that governs. Keep doing what you love.

Raw, angry, and totally needed right now ...
Erik has produced an angry anthem protesting the injustice of the neo-liberal order. It's raw and ready - sonically and lyrically - but groovy in an industrial way. Highly repetitive, simple throbbing riffs are entirely appropriate considering its vigorous instruction to violate "your institutions". The 80s punks would have been proud of its self-referential energy and the way the understated vocal suggests malevolent anger rather than screaming in pain. It suffers from ordinary production - the lyrics are very hard to make out in places, which is a pity. A little more "ear candy" would have helped define its structure and add meaning. It doesn't need finesse - just punctuation. It's also a little self-interested and lacks a universal frame of reference that could turn it into a more accessible rallying point. Overall, though, and entirely pleasing throbber of an anthem. If there is any political justice in this world, it should fill mosh pits for years to come.

Nice man!
This sounds great man! I love the instruments in this. very 80's rock. Your choice of instruments is very well blended. The production in this one is great as well. The vocals were very well balanced and emphasized. Lyrics are also great, its a very hot base kind of sound man. I'm sure you'll give plenty people nostalgia. Keep this up! Its. awesome to be able both kinds of sound, soft and rough sounds are difficult to adapt to. Great work.

Sweet vibes
Sweet intro- I love how the feedback is in the exact amount it should be. Maybe some people don't even notice it. The vocal fx is great I think you play with the right amount and take them off in the right places. Overall I love the sound and the mix- can't usually say it ;) Good song! good singing- good everything! really takes the rebellious Rock/Grunge from the 90's to 2018. Come to NY- would love to perform together!

Heavy Energy!
Good beat to start off the tune. Vocals seem to convey the angst that the lyrics contain. Lots of interesting energy bordering on sublime old school heavy rock n roll! Reminds me a little bit of the sabbath!

I Like This Track
Good steady rhythm track throughout the song. Guitar well positioned and the occasional flash of a second guitar is bright and effective. The vocal track is solidly FX'd, which does suit the track except I found the vocals unclear and/or too low in level at times. Also the portion of the vocal which uses the title words could be a bit stronger, especially if you are serious about the song's message. Overall I like the track, perhaps due to the punk rock era I went through in my younger days.

Review
Really like this guitar riff it’s very catchy and easy to remember along with the chorus It’s well thought out, recorded and produced. It’s also very well written. I really enjoyed the solo very clear and tight. It does seem to go on a little at the end, but this isn’t a problem as the track is a good one. This is a track is well worth a listen if you like rock (not to heavy) then this is a song for you. Get your fingers in the air and start head banging now, it’s lively and catchy and will get you rocking. All in all a great track, keep up the good work . JC

Cool Style
There is a cool distorted guitar sound, or possibly keyboard at the beginning. This instrument is a bit too left aligned for my taste. There is a break in the middle and that is good to keep it fresh. I would prefer the vocals be a little louder because they fall away at some parts, mostly in the beginning. I like the drums in this track. The guitar solo has a cool effect during the second verse. I like the lyrics but would like to hear more depth, since Erik probably has more to say.

Excellent
Hi Erik, Great vibe and lyrics. Love it. Keep up the good work. Catchy. You can add a guitarsolo to add a bit more spice to the song and a bit more dynamics but the overal feel is great. I would definitly air it on our alternative radioshow called T Uurtje Apart which airs every thursday night in Holland. Greetz Gwen
