Updated Baroque
New York composer Erik-Peter Mortensen has crafted a fun neo-Baroque allegro movement as part of his Concerto in C for Harpsichord. This first movement is reminiscent of Bach but with some cheeky twists.

Baroque energy.
This baroque-style piece is a stimulating listening experience, full of positive energy , excellently played on what sounds like an imposing instrument. The recording is first class, concert-hall standard...

Erik-Peter Mortensen Concerto in C review Fel D.
I did not see the length of this masterpiece. I thought it would be a snippet, it was a pleasant listening surprise. Just to have access to talent as such is a jewel in hand. I listened to it twice and it gave the same excitement as if I was watching a silent movie. I must say Erik-Peter Mortensen the sound is full without any contributing wind or percussion instruments and that is why this is only for those who can appreciate what is being done as you attack those keys with a mission. Thanks for the music. ~Fel D.

Fabulous!
I just love this lively, energetic, vibrant piece of classical music played with such vim and vigor by Erik-Peter Mortenson. Extremely invigorating to the mind and worthy of any classical harpsichord musician that I've heard before. My instinct is that Erik-Peter will go far in his endeavors as a performer, arranger, composer! Now I want to hear more...good luck in your career and keep on playing --- love it :)

Enchanting
Lovely melody, nice variability and tempo..sounds like a dance of fingers on piano keys. Clean start and finish. Overall a good feast to ears, and a good tap number. Very worth keeping in personal musical list for enjoying with close gatherings!

Harping Up The Wrong Chord
I instantly felt being thrown back in time to Vienna listening to the music in their great halls resonating with the harpsichord sound. Erik is very proficient at his instrument to be sure, although I somehow found myself not able to get into the flow of the mechanical feel of the instrument. Times have surely changed!
