Another great music piece from Erik-Peter Mortensen. I am a sucker for classical music. This has a very pleasant opening with a number of a great instruments. There are a number of a strings that start us off with a number of woodwind instruments and horn section. There are some nice percussion with a timpani roll and chimes to just give it that Mozart touch. I would imagine that I was looking back with a historical view. Excellent!.

I can picture the world, another world of high society, a most regal level where maybe dignity and indignity held Hans, but the rich and the poor did to, nor never ever would. I am a big fan of Eric as he well knows and I make no excuses for trying to indulge my ear in his work. There is no limit, it seems to his work and his precocious ability. His understanding of music, his musicality of mind and thought seems to be boundless and endless.

New York composer Erik-Peter Mortensen has composed a light orchestral piece reminiscent of music from three hundred years ago. The modern instrumentation adds a nice touch. Lots of possible uses for this piece.

Even as a Rapper I appreciate this as Real Music and The Inspiration for all Sounds come From Classical Music like this.

Erik-Peter Mortensen is a good artist, and all his pieces are of great interest. This "Divertimento" , for strings and wind instruments, as well as timpani (and a xylophone?), Is full of grace and elegance. The interest is always kept awake by the wise use of a formal structure, which can be defined as Classical, consolidated over the centuries. The structure is in fact mainly driven by thematic and harmonious development. The rhythm, on the other hand, remains constant and static, far from the structural importance attributed to it by the composers of the 20th century. In the Divertimento, to underline the careful use of the timbres, in their entries that highlight the various formal passages. If played by a classical orchestra, slightly revisited perhaps in the organic, it can give a great effect. Inside the piece we hear from Purcell to Haydn, Mozart, Haendel, (not Vivaldi) and especially Erik-Peter Mortensen, who has been able to dress with new clothes and revitalize a genre that must not only be closed in a museum. 4.2 just the recording and sound: a live orchestra could give a lot of warmth to the performance Bravo
