Song Reviews
Classical...
I like classical music. It contains the essence of musical construction that is common to any contemporary music. For example, improvisation of jazz is largely based upon the church scales. This Adagio is an excellent example of the use of basic scales in classical compositions. Quiet and peaceful. Stay safe, and keep the music playing.

transformation by Adagio
Getting the message embedded in musical frequencies is pretty much what I hope to gain when listen to other composers whom I am not. I have been familiar with Erik-Peter since July of 2019. His work is truly transformative, Adagio or not! This particular piece in my mind's eye, is playing in the background of a Mike Nichols film. Unfortunately, Mike is no longer with us, but I'm sure this is the kind of tune he preferred knowing him personally. This Adagio is perfect for a soothing background in any film, documentary, or just siping your wine or coffee alone or with friends. That is the nature of this piece. Balanced. Well written. Excellent engineering. Two thumbs up on this one song which is well equipped for public consumption. I rated this song a 5. Iggy Ice said it was ok with him for me to review this song, since I am a composer and he is my coach of sorts. The next step is for you to listen and enjoy this wonderful song for yourself. Please be of good cheer. Stay safe! Yours truly, iAndroid Dior D'Nai

A nice melody
New York City’s Erik-Peter Mortensen has composed a nice orchestral work entitled Transformation Adagio. The melody is handed off throughout the woodwind section with gentle strings accompaniment.

Transformation Adagio - Review
Thanks again for asking me to review your music. I think this has a great soft and pleasant beginning. The harp and flute are a nice soft way of presenting itself. It builds as the piece plays on. I think that there is a nice tone setting. There are a number of these instruments like the oboe and Contra Bassoon that gives it a mellow feel. Well played.. Keep up the great work all the best!

Love the progression
Wow, this song has a very impressive progression. It does sound like various takes from a few different songs. And it reminds me of Christmas days in the country with snow gently falling and red canaries chirping in the background. This song is very vivid in its presentation. The Green sleaves of elves dance through my mind. You have a very beautiful arraignment with this tune. Wonderful job and the ending was strong and beautiful.

Transformation Adagio
well well well ..this is some rare and excellent performed and written material. This is by no means a song , no this is a score. And for sure it is Adagio (a movement or composition marked to be played adagio.(especially as a direction) in slow tempo). And it has the discipline to stay right there in tempo ...BRAVO..this is truly a masterpiece so soothing yet bold too..the very last not of this piece is so so strong wow.. The Space Buggy applauded you.

I can always count on hearing something beautifully pleasing to the ear. Erik is quite the composer that masterfully writes from the heart with melodies that speak of pure tones and heartfelt movements. the instrumentations throughout get better as the song progresses... I love the oboe and exquisite harmonies the move this piece of music so wonderfully.. I can hear this in the next godfather, if someone will create another movie. fantastic job my friend!!!!

Transformation Adagio
I am not an expert on chamber or orchestral music However, I do have a gift for interpretation of music's message(s). This song reminds me of what it looks like to see a child's face come alight with the affirming and transforming love of the Mother and Father. How that love strengthens the child to grow and go in the right paths of his/her life. It is a piece of new relative music that resonates with the soul's struggles to become who they are as they are on the journey. Beautifully composed with notes that engender the hopeful endeavours of life's work. Each instrument is well chosen for this purposeful telling of the story. Each spirit behind the music is in harmony to produce the right sound to make the composition end with joy. I especially liked the oboe or was it the clarinet which gave the piece depth and transitions to greater heights of ascendancy.

Classical
Very calming music with many usages such as yoga, reading, meditating, and even going to sleep. It takes me to a scene of watching the rain fall. This would be a good add on for one of my favorite films 'The Hobbit'. Very relaxing piece of classical music. Keep up the great work.
