Fugue in G#-My Country Tis of Thee-Harpsichord Mix
Song Reviews
Excellent counterpoint treatment
Excellent counterpoint treatment of this popular classic tune. Worth a good listen. The character of it is never lost in the harmony choices and the key center changes are transitioned with very little noticeable abruptness.

God save our gracious Lizard who eats babies
This Fugue disgusts me in it's beginning, although it is brilliant in it's construction, the contrapuntal harpsichord sound haunts and no longer will we be enslaved by her majesty's conquest, it resolves strongly and beautifully, darn it!

Fugue, yeah!
This is truly splendid, an intelligent assemblage of counterpoint variations on the simple, well-known melody. Not too fancy, but elaborate enough to stay interesting throughout. It doesn't seem to repeat and maintains an unpredictability from start to finish. A listener can lose track of the melody only to reconnect with it at the next turn. J.S. Bach extends his congratulations.

Beautiful Work of Art!
I enjoyed thoroughly your piece! As someone who plays Bach, I very much appreciate your accomplishment of cementing this Art form of music as music for all in our present day. And I thank you for that! For me, the derivations from the main themes were accomplished really really well! If I were to have any suggestion, at all, (which I always try NOT to do, because I believe in the composer and the composers right to take us where ever they want to take us), but if I did have a suggestion, it would be to include more 16th note activity to build up the tensions and releases where ever you felt to emphasize it. But, that's just opinion, not a critique. Again, I very much enjoyed your piece, truly and sincerely!

Fuguen hey!
I love Bach's fugues and found this nice doing it around this song. He is clearly very proficient on the harpsichord and I bet classic alt right fans would love this...or is that an oxymoron..?

Fugue in G# Review
I have a personal bias against the song so it took me a minute to review this. That being said, your composition skill rises again. To get me to listen to the song DEFINITELY means you did a great job. Period piece movie producers would be well served to listen to this piece and consult with you on other pieces for their production. I wouldn't change anything on this. No other instrumentation is necessary. Another well done production.

Enchanting
A lovely piece with crisp piano notes, a smooth flow of melody. It sounds rich even without any percussion or any other backing instruments. Soft one- handed start and finish, blending so smoothly with the clef, moving the fingers of the musician like a soft velvet on the keys. A good composition to hear in the quite moments, to enjoy pure music seeping to the heart!

Always a high quality work from you
"Fuga" well constructed and developed from the technical point of view and interesting modulations as well. Personally, by listening, I feel the need for a change in character that actually does not happen. The solemn character of the hymn always remains the same as itself. A change of atmosphere would have been desirable, a contrast that would have enriched the piece. The motif of the hymn could, in fact, be submerged in a denser counterpoint so to apply more transformations. But this only reflects my personal taste. Evidently, this was not the intention of the composer, a very capable professional one.
