Erik-Peter Mortensen blew me away when I first listened to him . A "musician's musician" this character pulls out all the stops in his renditions of recognizable as well as new music. The seasonal fugue "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" brings the joy back into the season. The "Ragabond" classic piano rag will delight w/ nostalgia the ragtimmers' amongst us. I thoroughly enjoyed the fugue based on "The Gilligans Island Theme" which is a tune I like to toss in anytime I'm playing something on guitar. Erik-Peter will continue to surprise you with listenings to all his tunes & It as joy to be on the same planet at the same time ! Play On Maestro !

The vibes are very relaxing, and this song reminds me of bygone days when Macy's had a Christmas window display that made the news. If anyone gets tired of the same old Christmas music every year this music is traditional but played by someone with complete control of his instrument in any key or scale you can imagine. Erik-Peter makes improvising sound easy, but of course it's not easy. I never thought I'd say this but, bring on some Christmas music Erik-Peter, it's more than delightful.

All I can say about this artist is that he is truly magnificent! I have reviewed him a couple times already and find that his compositions are nothing but brilliant. I love the xylophone and bells and the fact that this historic Christmas song we wish you a merry Christmas has been heard a thousand times or more but I’d have to say this version has to be one of my favorites! Great work as always! Looking forward to hearing your next masterpiece
