On the first note i thought i was going to hear a song from the 50's or 60's but then it continued and i was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it. Good Job sounds beautiful. Very soothing to the ears and peaceful.

This recorded version or rendition of Ave Maria has classical connotation behind it and it was very noticeable maybe because of the piano playing in the background as the only instrument. Despite the fact that the piano is the only instrument playing the baritone vocals fills the song to what I believe at full capacity. Awesome breath control with the vocal capabilities. Great job. First, this song is beautiful with or without any vocals, the piano playing is lovely to follow, and fun to imagine fingers dancing along the keyboard as the song flows forward. While I studied classical music in college and have read about many of the great composers we have all come to know, I'm reluctant to review music that I myself cannot play with any great skill. I can say the vocals and piano are well matched in terms of the tonal quality - and listening to the intricate weaving of voice and piano going back and forth together is a delight from beginning to end. This song, while wonderful with just piano & voice would certainly be more enjoyable if it had some accompanying instruments, at the very least a string section to accent the dynamics, such as soft parts going up into a crescendo. While this song stands whole as it is with piano and the baritone vocal; the composer in me would like to hear some other instruments to bring out the dynamics. That's not to be critical, not at all - that's just the way I think about any song I hear. I love this song as it is - but would like it even more with more instruments bringing out the dynamics. My overall experience while listening to this incredible song - is that it is being performed with great skill and it reveals great vocal and musical ability that has been seasoned by years of training and experience. Anyone involved with the art of composing or producing music, can immediately appreciate the beauty of not only this classic song, but also the skill of the hands and voice bringing it forth... Truly a wonderful presentation of a song beloved by millions of people all over the world. Your recording of Ave Maria - reminds us all why this song is so appreciated by people everywhere. I am not at all interested in classical music! But as i play the song i feel the emotion from each key that is played on piano. I feel the emotion flowing from his voice and although i don't know what he is saying, i would listen again and again!

Praise the Lord your voice is awesome dude. Not sure what your doing on this site...you should be recording somewhere or be in a studio. I did notice a few glitches in the piano playing but other than that is was a superb performance. May God Bless You and please, please, please continue singing for the Lord. yes instrument music is perfect written is fantastic singing is also fantastic i love all about this song i think it stands a very high chance of making it to the top charts if t has not already but there are many artist these days that can do the same and stand that fighters chance but hay you are in the top in my opinion possibly many others also and do stand that fighters chance it is much better then not been there and stand little chance i think you should promote this song if you have not yet like i said i loved everything about this so i gave it top rating take care

You always have a nice tone, not too many people still appreciate a good baritone. Hope you continue to pursue your singing career and more original pieces. Piano syncopation is very nice as well, keep up the good work!

First things first-the only reasons why this song wasn't five stars was due to some flat notes, a few instances of lack of enthusiasm, a desire for better diction, how the vocals and piano sat in the mix, and a couple rough chords on the piano. That's it for that. Erik's voice is pleasant, clear, without rough or forced vibrato, and is overall well-rounded. As earlier stated with a desire for some better enunciation on parts, the lyrics are definitely understandable, and are completely intelligible as Latin. The piano is also well-played, and doesn't lack spirit or energy. Solid performance all-around, and just a couple sharpening of some edges here and there will make Erik stand taller than he already is. For having been in the Metropolitan Opera chorus, that is a tremendous achievement, and all due respect and credit must be given to this man who has achieved that success. While it must be said that one need be quite musically proficient and comfortable to be in such a chorus of renown, Erik must also keep in mind that the solo path he's going down will need more polishing to make him into the performer who he obviously has a desire to be, and who listeners want him to become for such great pleasure as can be delivered. That all being said, I have no doubts that he can become an all-star in his own right as he continues to develop and hone his particular craft with both grace and humility. I look forward to hearing more from Erik as i can tell what great promise he has.
