Renaissance Gem Wonderfully Presented
This is a somber and compelling rendition of William Byrd's masterpiece. The sonority of the lower voices and the clarity of the upper voices make a transcendent performance of this masterpiece. The polyphonics are divine and the blending of voices is exquisite. The levels between parts are smoothly blended so as not to overpower each other. This is a gem that you will never tire of.

Review of Ne Irascaris Domine/Civitas sancti tui: William Byrd
Another great vocal track by Erik-Peter Mortensen. This begins with some nice male and female melodic tones that sound like a requiem or a religious setting that gives a ambient feel of reverence. This carries throughout the piece. There are no instruments but the harmonies hold their own. The recording is crisp and clear and well mixed to give you a stereo blend give a full feel in the room. Well done!
