I was hooked by the first two bars and was reeled in all the way to the beach. I play guitar and am married to a fine lady, so qualify for this review. Great beat and vibe gives the song the yee ha from the start and a cheeky chorus is the cherry. It's a great sing-a-long hit that will have the crowd going nuts by the end. I like the subtle production and e.q. of the track. The guitar has a body as we do, you should know, I love the curves on my MX-5 Mazda. Great Job !

So original and catchy it feels and sounds like a song I should expect to hear in a classical movie. It brings back the memories in my childhood when I used to listen to music which apparently adults in my time grew up listening to. ABBA the Mama Mia singers if can remember type of feel? I kinda really missed that for a long time now so good job!

Hi Erik Robert. Nice song. I like your voice. There's always something romantic in your tunes, so I cannot do anything else than to assume that you're a romantic and passionate person. Good chord-scheme: There's a chord-wechsel in it which is very nice, after the verses just before the start of the refrain. The lyrics are ok. Concerning the composition, it's an original composition but it would even sound better if you'd put a break, a variation in it, and I do regret the ending of the song which, for me, could have been done a little better: It sounds a little bit too easy and somekind of plain to me. This song has kind of an upbeat,classic,folkish feel to it which I really liked. The production and vocal performance are quite good although the arrangement seemed a bit repetitive and the song would have benefited from a strong bridge to take the melody off into a new direction for a bit.

How could it be otherwise, that the song "Girls and Guitars" comes up with a brilliant acoustic guitar accompaniment. Elaborated chords and perfect drums puts one immediately into the right mood. All the way from stanza to the chorus mainly accompained by varied acoustic guitar sound and a deep bass line, straight concentrated on the drums. All instruments are extremely good played from very talented musicians. The lyrics coming from the heart and touch soul. The intro feels like story and a smooth girls chor in the refrain make the meaning of the song engaging for me. It´s a quintessence of pop style and alternative rock although influenced from folk music. Ambitious arrangement and really outstanding recording. This song could be a radio hit soon and I´m sure you will likewise to add it. Let others know your recommedation.

Upon my first listen to "Girls and Guitars" by Erik Robert Nordskog, I am immediately reminded of several great singer/sogwriters - which is not to say that, Erik Robert Nordskog's sound is entirely derivative. Quite the contrary - he has a very distinctive and original sound. I am also impressed by the production and arrangement on this particular track, and I look forward to hearing more music from Erik Robert Nordskog very soon!

Right off, this song has a older Folk sound, but then has some Pop/Rock elements. Very well put together. I like the instrumentation, and the fact that the mix is done well. The instrumentals are dissonant in kind of a quaint way. I love that the vocals are sung in such a way that the lyrics are clearly understandable! Honestly this is the best I've heard that done in a while now. Good contrast between the verses and the chorus. And I like the chorus effect that you added during the chorus, too. Overall, I think this is an excellent song. I honestly can't really come up with anything you need to improve on. So...awesome job!!

THIS SONG HAS A NURSERY RYHME VIBE TO IT NOT REALLY SURE IF IT FITS IN THE ROCK GENRE THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE ACTUAL GUITARS ON THIS TRACK TO GIVE IT THE EDGE AND MAKE IT A LOT HARDER THE PIANO I FEEL NEEDS TO BEREPLACED AS THE MAIN RYTHM INSTRUMENT PERHAPS SOME CRUNCH GUITARS AND MAYBE A TEMPO ADJUSTMENT IM NOT SURE HOW HARD CORE ROCK FANS WOULD REALLY GO FOR THIS TYPE OF PRODUCTION

I was expecting something much better..the song is very plain not much going on in arrangement and some parts of vocal are off the tune..I guess You are trying to make something in Classic Rock style..The song is ok to play at the Concerts but in order to go Up There.. has to be much better..try to pitch it to Radio Stations and Music Publishers and let see what They will tell You..try to rerecord it and make it better..
