I found this song to be very interesting and has a lot to offer. I was amazing at the songwriting and vocals as well. This song really shows your talent and I’ll be sharing this among my friends.

This song Behold sounds excellent. The instruments are mixed very well and all the parts fit the song well. The melody is fine and the words are good. The only change, maybe a little less effects and more volume on the vocals next time but other than that, you nailed it. Well done.

You have a very good voice, and that's why I think it should stand out more, I think that the other instruments cover it. I also think you should improve the dynamic, since the song starts and ends with the same volume/rhythm. The risk is that it gets boring and repetitive. This song has a 70's style reverb/echo; the vocals are just swimming in it. I like the song and message, but the recording style is very outdated, and there is so much more that could be done with it to bring it up to modern standards. Your vocals are good, a few notes sound "off", did you run them through autotune? You wanted an honest opinion, so this is mine. Good vocals, poor stylistic engineering, boring arrangement. This is why I only gave it 2.5 stars. Again, I do like the song, but it could have been presented better. Songs are like giving a steak to a chef; there are a lot of ways they can be done, and presented. Overall, you sell the sizzle, not the steak, and the presentation herein does not have the sizzle it could.

First of all, I like the Country & Western feel of this song. As for how it can be better it’s both a matter of arrangement and mixing. Dynamically the song stays the same from beginning to end. It’s just too much of the same thing over and over. You could try keeping the guitar out at points leaving only the bass guitar and drums. Then when the guitar enters it would raise the dynamic level. Another thing would be to switch up the drum beat for differing sections. Mixing-wise, cleaner and slightly louder vocals would be better. Also, the entire low end is too quiet (you can barely make out the bass drum). More low end would give the track more energy. Just some thoughts.

I actually enjoyed listening to the song throughout from beginning to end of the track. The song does not display any instruments overpowering each other, which is a good thing, meaning it's well balanced but at times I had problems hearing clearly some words being sung but only happened on a few occasions. In the very beginning as well as the end of the song the rhythm was not consistent. There were times the music would slow down then speed back up again. That can be easily corrected with a metronome for the musicians. Overall good job and keep writing for the Lord. Roger W.

Thanks for sharing your music with us. I like the band. Country to the core, especially the lead guitar. The echo on the guitar is good, however the echo on the voices makes them really hard to hear. Maybe they just need to be turned up and brought out to the front in the mix. As a singer/ songwriter I insist that the SONG/ LYRIC'S can be heard clearly.. Other than that the mix is good. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, Consider backing off the processing on your vocals a little , not singing in a tunnel, more natural sound, but, not dry and flat either. I really enjoyed the message in this song. Vocals are smooth, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I love the older classic country sounds. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. It is very beautiful, its lyrics and music as well as the melody, harmony and instruments are in very good balance and it is noted that the production and mixing in the studio was very detailed. The guitars are very clear, and appropriate for this type of song. The choruses are very good, and only the leading voice requires more processing since it is heard somewhat weak and with some detuning. In any case, I congratulate you on a very good job.
