Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for subscribing to my email list. It is the least I can do to provide y'all with a little info about what's going on in the musical world of (expired link). Harris.
The first in the list of exciting things is a brand new live album! It'sIt's called Alive & Undisclosed was recorded live at Rockwood Music Hall right here in New York City and best of all is available for download at (expired link) at whatever price you'd like (and yes for those of you skinflints like me that can also mean free).
That's not all on the recording front though. I've also just completed the mixes for my new studio record, due for release this August, "ReEntry" in collaboration with Saraz Handpans and the Saraz Entourage. If you don't know about Handpans yet you should, and these most magical musical devices can be both admired and acquired at (expired link).
The last thing is a special request for all my European friends. So in support of these two new records I shall be on a sprawling tour of Europe, beginning in Iceland, stretching east to Romania, and west to Ireland. Many dates are filled but I do still have some free days. (expired link). Harris is a strange man. I have heard he uses robot goats to mow peoples' lawns more cheaply than his competitors. This aside though, his blend of folk lyricism with obsolete gadgets is worth an Official Bio from the (expired link). Harris world headquarters inside us all:
I will give you some brief information about myself and then maybe tell a story. My name is Eric, but I go by (expired link). not because I like it better necessarily, but because it seems to suit me more.
I make widely varied sounds using a number of things, and some people call that music. It makes me happy when they do. I have lived in a van, worked in warehouses, and speak barely conversational broken Zulu.
I enjoy the smell of musty books, pipe tobacco, and the last half of the sound of a train going by. In addition to this, I hate the overuse of pronouns and boilerplate transitional phrases and feel it makes for extremely boring reading. So there it is, already too wordy.
If you still want a story...I recommend reading one of the many fine selections in the cannon known as the Star Wars expanded universe.
