Song Reviews

There's something here

Nice song. Can hear its potential. Reminds me of 'True' by Spandau Ballet: That was a big hit. Love to guitar chop and the treatment you've applied; it works well. Drum tones choice also work well with the song. Needs some refinement. The vocal need some attention: Something like Waves tune might help here. Most of the kinks can be ironed out with a little pre and post production work. Gain staging, compression on your tracks can really make a big difference. There is something here, but a little more attention to what you want your listener to hear and when should fix you. All the best with it.

Sonic Serenity: Unveiling the Enchanting World of 'Get Away'

From the very first note, "Get Away" envelops listeners in a lush instrumental tapestry. The production quality is impeccable—each layer meticulously crafted and seamlessly blended. The mix strikes a delicate balance, allowing every instrument to shine. The chord progression, while intriguing, feels like a secret passage leading to uncharted emotional territories. It's as if the music beckons us to explore hidden realms. The melody, though built on a modest palette of around five notes, casts a spell. It's like catching glimpses of distant constellations through a veil of mist. Simplicity becomes its strength, drawing us closer. Perhaps it's the repetition—the way those few notes echo, creating a comforting familiarity. Yet, some might yearn for more complexity, a twist in the melodic tale. The vocals emerge like ripples on a tranquil lake. Clear and polished, they ride the waves of sound. But here lies the subjective crossroads: taste. Some listeners will find the delivery soothing, akin to a gentle lullaby. Others might crave a dash of unpredictability—a vocal leap, a raw edge, or a sudden crescendo. It's a matter of personal preference, like choosing between chamomile tea and a double espresso. Conclusion In the grand finale, "Get Away" leaves us pondering. Is it an invitation to escape, to wander beyond the mundane? Or perhaps it's a reminder that beauty resides in simplicity, that even a handful of notes can evoke profound emotions. So, listen with open ears, let the music carry you, and decide for yourself. The band has woven a sonic cocoon - a place where we can pause, reflect, and, yes, get away.

Get Away

I like the song, especially the piano--kind of like a rhythm section, within it's self--lyrics kind of like The Beach Boys 60's songs--the drums and piano work well together--I like pop, and the song echoes that element very well--simple, yet, broken down, excellent rhythm, and pop elements--nice song--

Relaxed vacation song for (hotel/rivercruise) entertainment purpose...

I always begin to type while listening to your song. Relaxed vacation-like opening. Does remind me of a musician in my neighbourhood who does live performances on his own. It's entertainment league, not the professional league. Sometimes I wonder the timing is accurate. Background vocal sounds original ;-) Don't worry...the quality of the recording is fine, and you seem to enjoy to make music. If you do not expect Billboard hits and know which audience you try to reach you will do fine. Enjoy your music !

Very interesting track

While listening for the first time, it reminded me of Paul McCartney at the beginning of his magnificent career! And I don't know why, but I also perceived the same feelings I get from the sounds of Alan Parson Project! The song is generally well performed; I've also appreciated those hints of trumpets and this American beach mood... Feels like absolute chill with your song in the background! Great Job, congrats!
