Hip Hop Artist and CEO of Smallcirco Multimedia Foolie Auto tells (expired link) the story behind his career in the rap game and growing up in Kansas City, Missouri.

Whats behind the name?

It started in my neighborhood back in Kansas City. My name was Damn fool because I was a wild kid growing up. Years later, the name transformed to Foolie Automatic, and Foolie Auto for short.

Introduced to the rap game and hustle as a young kid, Foolie remembers the influence his older cousins had on him.

“I was introduced to it all when I was younger. I had an older cousin who was with the group ‘Drama Life’ here in Omaha. Since I was 10 years old, I looked up to my cousin and soon I started rapping in church. They used to write me little raps and I would recite them, but I could never perform them because I was too young to get into the venues they performed at. But soon enough I started writing my own.”

Foolie’s curiosity soon led him to a fulfilling lifestyle as a rapper. It wasn’t long before he realized that this was something he could his energy towards and see results.
