Song Reviews
Stray Cats groove.
If music was food, this song would be five warm pounds of smoked bacon cooked just right in a pan of maple syrup that was extracted from a fresh, budding young pine in the glen.Once I listened to this song, it inspired me to forever be a better person. I copied onto a CD and played it in my car as I drove halfway across the country. Even this review undermines the actual quality of the song so much that it saddens me to the point of despair, and the only thing that keeps me going is that old-timey, rockabilly groove.

Hot and Swinging!
This spicy and driving boogie is most surely a fun number; and reinforces a lyric that is appropriate for the times. "...everybody's talking, no one seems to listen". Smoking harmonica work by Francois and he delivers the goods on vocals, too. This jam evokes images of a house party or a packed club, and gives the listener a mental picture of a jumping, crowded bar.

Up Tempo Blues
This is a nice track featuring a very up tempo BLUES feel. It's different from a lot of blues tracks I've listened to, almost a dixie land kind of a feel. Musician ship is very good, and it has an overall very good sound. A well recorded and performed track. Vocals are nice too!

review of the ba ba blues
From the start this little tune will take you on a ride, bass and drums roll it out , The guitar takes ytou right into the song as the vocals bring out the message that he may be down but not out of it. A message of hope for a crushed lover, and all is gonna be ok in a great musical package. I recommend this song. Almost a high as you can get really nice little number well done Francois.

Old School Standard Jump Blues
This song is a blast from the past type of style of music. I use to play this style in the late 60's in high school. Its a good rendition, However, It is not new or new to the 21st century. I like the tune and feel it brings back some of what music use to be before the Digital age. In the Netherlands they see music differently than here in the States. The Harp on this song plays a good part in the song, Its not in the way of the rest of the music, But, it fits without over playing. Some Harp players sometimes don't understand that playing to much is not good. Its where you put the note is what matters. The production of the recording is clear. I do see where the levels of the drums (Bass-Drum), is not heard. Bass Drum should be up front enough to establish the one count. Vocals need to be more up front as well. Over all the song is a throwback to the days of real Jump Blues. Back up vocals need some work to give the song a better Three part harmony that's real tight. Not bad guys

Blaaagghhh
This is dreadful tosh. What is the point of all the repetition? The harmonica is excellent but wasted on this ridiculous mess. Mr Spannenburg was offered the best harmonica song of all time, which would have made him a household name throughout the universe but could not be bothered to get in touch. I suspect that he will still be poncing about, wasting his time and effort for many years to come. This is a big shame for anyone with talent.

Swingin Blues
Hey! This a fun, uptempo swing blues that will get your feet moving and your butt shaking! It sounds like a party. With a fantastic harmonica solo, a nice saxophone section, and solid rhythm section, this jam fulfills if you like a blues that swings, shakes, rocks, and rolls!
