Devil's Dream is a typical country piece with a country drum, a big country bass, a nice counrty guitar but the one that is amazing is your harmonica. the difficulty in playing the harmonica is not so much what you play but how you play it, you go perfect in time without losing a joke and with the harmonica it is not at all simple. I think you're one of the best I've ever heard and I'm not telling you so much but because I think so

Devil's Dream
Hi again Francois. For the life of me, I could never figure out why this tune was entitled "Devil's Dream." The only dream that I thought the devil would have is of his demise when God finally puts him down for good. LOL Anyhow, enough of the lesson on Lucifer's future. When I hear your wonderfully talented version of this tune, I immediately imagine myself flying down a gravel back road on a beautiful summer day; an extremely exhilarating feeling. I can imagine a huge crowd; joyfully dancing to this tune. Genre - hmmm. Bluegrass - yes, Celtic - yes, Country - yes, Blues - not so much. How about Soundtrack, Film, Irish? Because I have recently heard some Thrash/Grass, I can almost hear this tune wonderfully mixed up in a Thrash band. lol Awesome mix, and showcasing, of the many instruments you encorporated. I had to replay this tune about 10 times while reviewing this jovial little tune my friend; just can't stop. :) All of the runs used seemed to fit well with the scale of the key in which it was written. If there is only one thing I would recommend, it would be that each of the fiddle phrases at the start of the song would increase in speed to give it the appearance of a substantially sized engine starting up for this epic journey. ;) Definitely a keeper Francois. Blessings, Trev. :)

Wow!
Take me to the rodeo! Such a nice tune to dance to.,Classic country vibes, I love it! Not all music needs lyrics. Just instruments and admiring the different instruments will do. Pure instruments and. Love the fast pace and everything just works so perfectly together. Keep on rocking!

Two steppin' magic!
You know I love this uptempo, rocking bluegrass. The kind of stuff that gets your feet tapping and your head bopping! Well, this is another winner. The guitars, fiddles and of course, the harmonica all hit just the right places on the bluegrass-o-meter! The banjo was a nice touch too! Intricate syncopations and virtuosity abound. I highly recommend this group and hope to see them some day as they kick it up a notch on every tune! Great job!

review of deviel's dream good fast up beat fiddle
Nice harp piece with a strong bass drive and a guiter kicking in to really make it roll, I would say kinda country rock or bluegrass folk tune has a good fast up beat fiddle and french harp, and banjo kicks in to make it a toe tapping nice get in the mood for more sound. I like it and its up beat grene a toss up, could fit in several grenes but defiently has some folk thrown in.
