I have been a Spirit filled Christian since age 19. I started writing songs that the Lord gave me not long after that. Sometimes I would hear part of the song in a dream and wake up and finish it. The inspiration for Jesus is the Reason for the Season came from the popular saying but I wanted to write a song based on that saying that explained why I think our focus should be more on Christ than all the commercialism that surrounds Christmas.
