HEY ALL!
WOW! I’ve been away for a little while! I feel on some ice and hurt my left hand (my chord hand for guitar) and it was bruised under the skin. X-rays proved negative breaks or fractures. That happened about 2 weeks ago. The hand is still sore but I can play again!
Music is in some of my earliest memories. I can remember hearing “Killing Me Softly” by Roberta Flack when it was new. It’s ingrained in me. To that end, I’ve release the next single “Fade Away”. This upbeat song talks about my desire to make the best music possible. Because without music, I’d simply “Fade Away”. I hope you can find yourself in this positive, uplifting song.
The next song: “Baby You and Me” is almost done. Some finishing touches and it will be ready for you!
In other news, STAND BY YOU has again been honored by the Akademia Music Awards for “BEST SONG/ALTERNATIVE ROCK POP” for the month of March 2016. Here’s the link: (expired link)

Hello Everybody!

Lot’s has happened since my last letter! Stand by You has won an Akademia Music Award for best Rock/Rockabilly song for February 2016. That is flattering to say the least. I am proud that Stand by You has accomplished this.

I’ve released Are You Able “16”, (Sixteen as in this year). If you remember, I had the demo for “Are You Able” on Numberonemusic. But this is the release of the album song. That song is in a “teaser” form on numberonemusic but is in its entirety on my website (expired link). I’m happy to say that I’ve heard great things as the song is also in rotation on (expired link).

“Raise Your Hands” was released on Numberonemusic and my website in its entirety. I did this song because from my vocal teacher and everybody that knows me say “that’s you song”! My style comes out in that song and I “feel” me in it. Check it out here and on my website (expired link).

I also named my upcoming album. It will be called “Solo”. So now here on Numberonemusic you will see that the songs and teasers are in a collection called “Solo”.

“My Angel” was also released for rotation on my (expired link) music channel. Check out (expired link) and select “Frank Patek radio”. There you can hear the whole song.

AND…. the next song “Fade Away” is about ready to be released! Stay Tuned to hear that. That song’s character reminds me of “Stand By You”.

Hey Everybody!
Welcome all the new subscribers! I have gotten more emails from you and let me say that hearing from you makes my day!
I have finally finished “Are You Able ‘16” and the “teaser” is available on my N1M page as well as my reverbnation page. But as promised, I have the WHOLE SONG on my website (expired link) for you to listen to. That page has information regarding the songs roots and how the idea came to be so do me a favor and check it out and subscribe to the webpage!
To that end, I have finished recording of the next track “Raise Your Hands”. The final mix down is finished and the listening testing is in progress. That song will be ready by my next blog.

Hello Everybody!

I want to thank you for all of the support that you've given me in these last 15 days! It's amazing to see the email list continue to grow and welcome all of you from around the globe who have come to share in my passion.
And now for some exciting news! I have launched my website “Frank Patek Solo”. That address is (expired link). There you’ll find lots of things about this process of making an album and when it will be released. You can also get quick links to my facebook and twitter pages.

ALBUM UPDATE: I am currently working on “Are You Able, 2016”. It is in its final stages but it is still not ready for the site yet. You’ll find the entire song on (expired link) when it’s ready. How will you know when it’s ready? When you see the “teaser” on (expired link).

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope everybody had Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year. This year has been good to me as I have been virtually introduced to all of you from all over the world who have graciously signed up for these updates as well as have sent me personal emails to tell me how much my music means to you. I am so grateful to receive these little notes from you so keep them coming. Anytime I feel tired and I don’t “feel” like working on that next song, I think of all of you and it inspires me to get back to work!

I am continuing to move forward with the album project as I hope to have it completed for release in late spring. I am on the next song, a rework of “Are You Able”. I felt the demo is a little heavy so I am reworking it to let the lyrical content shine. Stay tuned for the teaser when it’s available.

Hey Everybody!
Thanks for sticking with me! And thank you to all the “new” people who have joined my email list in just the last 15 days. At the request of a lot of emails, I have decided that instead of just releasing singles, to work on an album for the spring. The new album will have completely re-recorded songs…not the ones on this page as these are not new recordings. So, while you can buy these songs now, you’ll get a new updated version of these songs when you buy the album. With a new and updated version of Kathy’s Song.
On that note, I’ll be putting “teasers” on N1M when I’m finished to let all you loyal fans hear what’s coming down the pike as I have with “My Angel”. Having said that, I am currently working on the next song “Unforgiven”.

Hey Everybody!

I just want to thank all of you for who have subscribed and have written personal notes to me. It's cool to get email from you all. Things you all are saying are that my music encourages you, or that you tell me that one of my songs is "your favorite". One of my subscribers has even told me that she wakes up to one of my songs every day. That is so encouraging to me. I really love all your emails so keep them coming. I have been able to personally answer every one so far and that is my goal. I will make every attempt to personally reply you your email if you send me one.

And now on to some new news. My next single "My Angel" is in it's final stages and will be released in Early December. I think your going to like this "love/hate" song. Just for you subscribers, I've attached a snippet of the song...about 40 seconds worth. Tell me what you think!

I want to thank you for subscribing to my numberonemusic page. When you became a subscriber, you took part in the journey that I’ve just begun. Although, I’ve been writing and recording music for quite some time, this is my first real attempt to build a “friends” network. A network of people who enjoy what I do. Having all of you on my subscriber list gives me the motivation to continue to not only write, but write music that I would be proud for YOU to hear. In the coming weeks and months, I will be releasing more new music. My latest release “Stand by You” is doing well. If you haven't yet, check it out. It's got an "80's" feel. I’m currently working on my fifth release. More on that in my next letter.
