Frank Porter
I am a musician and songwriter that has a story behind him. My public persona versus private is akin to Clark Kent and Superman with a Cheech and Chong twist. I grew up listening to all kinds of music in my parents album collection. In the northern Adirondack mountains there was a ton of bluegrass and country music and some rock music as well. The Artisan Exchange
United States, Pennsylvania, West Chester, 208 Carter Drive, 19382This market goes from 10 am to 2 pm
Frank Porter continues to bring his solo acoustic original music sprinkled generously with classic rock cover songs from bands like The Rolling Stones, Kiss, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young and more.
Frank has been focusing on the originals more. He's got a new album called I Can Win. He's busy working on a few projects which he would love to share with you up close and personal and there's not a better gig than this one to be able to speak to the artist in between songs and maybe even eat lunch with him.
In case you did not know, Frank is a winner of two International songwriting competitions in the best instrumental category. One in 2015 and then again in 2017.
He's signed to a label since early 2013. Recently (12/14/17) appeared live on WFLR 91.7 FM along with a young gifted songwriter and amazing vocalist named Ash Dakota.
So this is not your typical live farmers market music. It's all played at a level of background music and on any given day you don't know what you might hear Frank play. He's been playing live now for 38 years. As he loves to say, "I'm old, but I'm good." This is very true and you really should get up early one of these Saturday mornings when Frank is on the schedule. And do not come just for the music... The Artisan Exchange is well worth getting out of bed for. There's some great coffee to be had as well.
So be sure to say hello to Frank. He loves to meet new friends and fans. He's very down to earth and easy to talk to.
