Recent events have changed the direction of "From Harps to Halos" due to the announcement from Mark Fansler that he felt it was time for him to move forward with his gift of singing and song writing. We were blessed to have Mark with us during his period of development in song writing and singing style. The H2H family prays for him and success in his future in music. The five original songs Mark left with the band will be treasured as a testimony of what God can do with us if we just let Him into our lives.

God has a plan for you! Be steadfast and PRAY! He has and always will provide what you need. Listen to that still, small voice and BELIEVE!

Most recently H2H competed in the "Battle Of Christian Bands" and performed four of Mark's original songs at "Temple Center for the Performing Arts" in Philadelphia, PA and came in second place. It was an awesome experience!

From Harps to Halos is going to change! That is a given. But what direction does God want us to take? We will pray about it, and ask that you pray about it too. We have always trusted in God to lead us and provide for us! We still plan to continue "Spreadin' the news... playin' the blues"!

Thank you so much for all your support. The LORD is leading us in an awesome direction! Mark & I were aware of the "BATTLE OF THE CHRISTIAN BANDS" on Saturday, Sept. 27th, 2014 but we figured it was too late to enter this year. Tony gave me a name to contact. For quite a few days, I just didn't have the feeling to send any msgs. to Rev. John Accunzo who is in charge of the "Bands" for this event. But, on Wednesday, Sept. 3rd; things were different. I was lead to contact the Rev. and within about 20 mins. received a phone call that has changed the direction of our Band.

Rev. John informed me that last night there was a cancellation from one of the bands. John (as he wants to be called) told me that he listened to the band & just thought they were so good and was so impressed w/Mark's singing. Then, he asked me (As a Booking Agent) if our band could perform in the "4th ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE CHRISTIAN BANDS?" Well, I said "Yes."

This is just another example of the awesomeness of the LORD and how he can move mountains so that our Band can perform on Saturday, September 27th of this year 2014. The band that dropped out will get another opportunity at another time. God says this is our time now.

This was the first time we performed this song live and I still think one of the best. Mark sang from his soul. Jim just feels the groove and emotion when playing the harp behind those glasses. Gary takes the ending of this one to another place and the guys just followed him there. Beautiful. The lord was with us on that day. We could feel His presence!

The song has changed some in four years but I am so glad we could capture its essence on that day on the altar praising him in His house.
