Oh, that madman Josh Rifkind has done it again! He's holding another benefit for the Songs For Kids Foundation on Friday night December 23 at Smith's Olde Bar in Atlanta. This time it's an evening of the music of Adele Adkins, who has long fascinated me not only because of her unique voice and excellent songs but also because Adele was my mother's name.

GALLEON has been assigned to perform Adele's hit song "SET FIRE TO THE RAIN," which happens to be one of my wife's favorite Adkins songs. A lot of other Atlanta-area artists will sing Adele's music as well. It's a fun chance to see and hear a lot of great musicians (including GALLEON!) make utter fools of themselves, and it's all to benefit the Songs For Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization which uses music as therapy to assist in the treatment of ill and injured children. What better cause is there than the children, and what better reason is there for GALLEON to get on stage and make a fool of ourselves!?
