Nevertheless, I hope you won't mind my drawing your attention to my upcoming CONCERT/OPEN PODIUM in aid of http://www.taskbrasil.org.uk/ in aid of CASA JIMMY, a day-care centre in Santa Teresa, Rio de Janeiro, for street kids and pregnant teenagers. The aim is to raise enough money to pay towards major rapairs to the house itself, as well as something towards the services of a child psychologist. I sponsored a child for 4 years there and visited this summer. I restrung their classical guitars, bought them some food and drink for their party and watched their wonderful dance show before performing Stevie Wonder's Superstition on their playground using a strapless classical guitar I had just tuned. It was all very spontaneous and heartfelt but I HAD TO DO MORE!
