About GCM Audio

Hello everyone! I am a musician from the North of England, UK, and although I have been interested in producing music for many years, it was only at the end of 2016 when I bought a new copy of Reason, that I properly got stuck into writing it. My style has changed quite a lot in a couple of years. It started off as very standard four to the floor dance, but has evolved into a mixture of melancholic synthwave and breakbeat. The latter is very important to me. I just love writing complex beats. For the first couple of years I think I have been trying to figure out what I want my music to sound like, but with my latest album Future Breakbeat I think I have found it; quite harsh saw-wave leads, with deep-sounding pads and complex breakbeats. Anyway, I am really enjoying writing it, and moving forward I am planning to evolve my sound and use much more of my own generated sounds from samples I record, etc. Hope you enjoy listening to my stuff! As well as writing the music, I am creating my own merchandise such as t-shirts and hoodies, and I also create all my own artwork for singles and albums. I have designed a couple of music videos too but they are very time consuming to create, so I haven't done too much on those at the moment. Thanks for reading!
