It Continues
(Originally written 3/30/19)
Hello again, crew! As I sit here eating dinner at 11:15 PM, I was thinking about you all, and had a few thoughts come to mind.
The first of which is how incredibly blessed I am to have such a life as this, and such a group of listeners as you all. You're present at the very beginning of my musical adventures. I keep referring to you all as my "crew" not because of some grandiose, self-deluded illusion of captaincy; rather because I see you all as my support network to keep me going.
It is you, and indeed all humanity, who I compose for. However I must admit that my inspiration comes from a much more profound source, the likes of which I doubt anyone would believe. Nevertheless, I have an absolutely enormous amount of work to get through for projects present and future. This obviously included A Heavy Metal Requiem Mass, to be sure. However I also plan on at least two back to back symphonies, three operas, a slew of individual songs, and one other project which I'll keep under wraps for the time being.
While I continue to work on the Mass, I will ask all of you to continue to cheer for me in order that my spirit will not fail in these tasks set before me. You're all my bedrock, and I thank you for your continued support. If you wish, you are invited to email me to chat individually, and add me ton Facebook and/or Twitter.
Thank you again for your kind support and consideration.
G.
